Kimiko's Pearl and Romantic Treasures

Join Gustavo Gimeno and your TSO for an inspiring program of legends and love. The World Première of Canadian composer Kevin Lau's Kimiko’s Pearl Symphonic Suite draws from the powerful ballet about hope, resilience, and transformation. Then, Saint-Saëns's beloved Cello Concerto No. 1, a masterpiece of romantic lyricism and virtuosity, is brought to life by cellist Kian Soltani. The evening concludes with Ravel's Daphnis et Chloé Suite No. 2, a lush and rhapsodic depiction of mythical love.

Tchaikovsky’s Pathétique

Tchaikovsky’s “Pathétique”, his profoundly moving final symphony, expresses life’s beauty and sorrow with an eloquence that is unmatched. Conducted by Gustavo Gimeno, this concert also features the world première of I Want to Be Alive—Trilogy for Orchestra, a powerful exploration of human vitality by Icelandic composer Daníel Bjarnason. Together, these works create a compelling narrative about the human experience, from our innermost struggles to our most uplifting moments.

La Vida Loca celebrates artists including Jennifer Lopez, Enrique Iglesias, Gloria Estefan, Santana, Ricky Martin, and more. Join charismatic Pops conductor Enrico Lopez-Yañez, world-renowned vocalists Ender Thomas and Jackie Mendez, and multi-GRAMMY® Award winners José Sibaja on trumpet and Luisito Quintero on percussion for a high-octane program featuring all-new symphonic arrangements by Lopez-Yañez and Sibaja.

Beethoven’s Eroica

Experience the heroic and triumphant grandeur of Beethoven’s “Eroica”, a symphony that uplifts with its stirring power and grand themes, in this program conducted by Kristiina Poska. The concert opens with Arvo Pärt’s meditative Cantus in Memoriam Benjamin Britten, an homage to the British composer, followed by Callaloo—A Caribbean Suite for Piano and Orchestra by Stewart Goodyear, a vibrant piece written and performed by the composer and pianist, inspired by the joy and energy of Caribbean music and culture.
